Margaret will be playing The Empress in a sparkling new production of Aladdin at The Roses Theatre, Tewksbury, directed by Ben Crocker, from Saturday 30 November to Saturday 4 January!

Get ready to journey with us to the exotic Far East for an adventure like no other, in our 2019 family pantomime, Aladdin!

Aladdin is brought to life by a talented cast and the same creative team as in previous years, including writer and director Ben Crocker and Musical Director Andy Allpass. Complete with all of the magic and sparkle audiences have come to expect from a Roses pantomime, we’ll transport you this Christmas to an exotic world of music, mayhem and pure escapism – the perfect chance to spend a couple of hours simply relaxing and enjoying family time.

Our pantomime has it all. A rollicking storyline; a whole host of colourful characters from the plucky title character to the evil Abanazer; and more singing, dancing and opportunities to boo and hiss than ever before. Established regulars Ben Eagle (Widow Twankey) and Michael Watson-Gray (Wishee-Washee) join new faces James Squire (Aladdin), Benedict Martin (Abanazer), Margaret Preece (Empress of China), Sophie Adams (Genie) and Esme Rothero (Princess Jasmine) to complete a talented line-up that guarantee to have you laughing your socks off right from the start.
